Archbishop Daniel Buechlein will welcome the men who attend the conference.  He has stated , “I look forward to being able to open the Second Annual Indiana Catholic Men's Conference.  Men of all ages are encouraged to attend this important event.”

Born in Jasper, Indiana , took his solemn profession as a Benedictine monk in 1963 and was ordained a priest at St. Meinrad Archabbey. He became President-Rector of the School of Theology at Saint Meinrad Seminary in 1971. In 1987, he was appointed and installed as Bishop of Memphis, Tennessee. On July 14, 1992 he was appointed the fifth Archbishop of Indianapolis. He currently serves as Consultor to the Vatican ’s Congregation for the Clergy, and as Co-moderator of the Disciples of Christ-Roman Catholic International Dialogue.

Most Reverend Charles Chaput, O.F.M. Cap., D.D., Archbishop of Denver was ordained a priest in 1970.  He was ordained Bishop a Rapid City, South Dakota in 1988 and was appointed Archbishop of Denver in 1997. Archbishop Chaput has addressed World Youth Day gatherings in both Toronto and Rome.  He was appointed in 2003 by President George W. Bush to the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom.  In 2005, Archbishop Chaput gave the keynote address at the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C., which was attended by President Bush.  Archbishop Chaput, who’s ancestry is Native American, is also know for his writings.  The popular book, “Living the Catholic Faith: Rediscovering the Basics,” numerous articles and forward to books of many Catholic authors, are just some of his published works.  Archbishop Chaput is currently on the Board of Directors both Catholic University of America and Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN).

Darrell Miller is the Director of Major League Baseball’s Urban Youth Academy. Darrell had a five-year career as a player with the California Angels. He has also served as an executive in community relations and a professional scout for the Angels organization. Darrell also played for the Baltimore Orioles, Seattle Mariners and New York Yankees.

Darrell is a member of one of the most celebrated and successful sports families in history. Brother Reggie was one of the greatest basketball players of all time and sister Cheryl was one the best female basketball players of all-time.

As a convert to the faith, Darrell is especially mindful of the depth and truth of the Catholic faith. He is a dynamic speaker who loves to share his testimony and faith far and wide. Darrell is a board member of Catholic Athletes for Christ and was a participant in the Vatican’s first ever conference on Sports in 2005. Darrell has been a guest on EWTN's, "Life On The Rock."

Jesse Romero is a full-time bilingual Catholic Lay Evangelist, who is nationally acclaimed for his dynamic, upbeat Christ centered preaching. A resident of California and a retired Los Angeles Deputy Sheriff, he is a devoted husband and father. He was a three time world Police Boxing Champion and a two time U. S. A. Kickboxing Champion. As a speaker, Jesse has the ability to make the sometimes-complex teachings of the Faith understandable with his straight talk approach.  His messages are orthodox and delivered with energy and conviction that has become a Jesse Romero trademark. He speaks with a sense of urgency on Christ centered Catholicism. Jesse is a cradle Catholic who experienced an interior conversion thru the reading of the Gospels. His conversion has launched him into a preaching ministry wherein he is lighting hearts on fire for the Lord in Catholic Parishes across the country.

Father Larry Richards was born in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania . Ordained to the priesthood in 1989 for the Diocese of Erie, Fr. Larry Richards serves as pastor of St. Joseph Church/Bread of Life Community in Erie . A gifted and captivating speaker, preacher, and retreat master, Fr. Larry Richards holds the answer to some of life's most profound questions. He speaks from experience as a pastor of an inner city parish, a high school chaplain, a counselor, and evangelist. Fr. Larry Richards has directed hundreds of retreats, parish missions and conferences for young and old alike. His inspirational talks and presentations, always authentic and enthusiastic, have changed the hearts, minds and lives of millions of listeners worldwide. Fr. Larry promises two things at his parish missions: One, you will never be bored and two, your life will be changed forever. Fr. Larry Richards is the founder and president of The Reason for our Hope Foundation, a non- profit organization dedicated to ‘spreading the Good News’ by educating others about Jesus Christ.

Fr. Richard Doerr is the pastor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Carmel, Indiana. He graduated from Purdue University in 1988 and St. Meinrad Seminary in 1993 when he was ordained.  Fr. Richard is a founding spiritual director of the Frassati Society of Young Adult Catholics.  As a vocalist, Fr. Richard has produces two inspirational CD’s to help fund youth and young adult ministry initiatives.  Fr. Richard is one of six children and his older brother Brian is also a priest in the Lafayette Diocese.

 
Fr. Jonathan Meyer
 

Ordained a priest in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis in 2003, Fr. Meyer studied in Rome and is well versed in the writing of Pope John II, “Theology of the Body.” Fr. Meyer was appointed associate pastor at Our Lady of the Greenwood , Queen of the Holy Rosary and in 2006 was appointed associate pastor of St. Luke parish in Indianapolis . In 2006, Fr.
